"My husband and I adopted a very smart pit bull named Truffle from our local shelter, knowing virtually nothing
about the breed and little about her history. My initial research about pit bulls was confusing at best - we had
no idea what the truth was, or how to handle some of her behaviors. Thank goodness I met Jessica and Some
Pit.
We met with Some Pit after Truffle bit another dog and the support we received allowed us to keep her. To be
honest, without their help, we might have returned her to the shelter. Some Pit has been amazing - giving us
the expert advice, on-going training classes and support, dog socialization experiences and confidence in
handling that we needed. Some Pit has made a tremendous difference in our lives and helped us to develop a
deep bond with our dog. She even passed the American Temperament test this spring."
